Studio City gutter installation — hillside and flatland.
Studio City has two faces. South of Ventura up Laurel Canyon, you have hillside Mid-Century homes — Wonderland, Lookout Mountain, the cantilevered builds along Mulholland — that need rope-rigged access and scupper-system work. North of Ventura, on the Tujunga Wash flats, it's older 1930s-40s SFR with original fascia under decades of trim. Different crews, different specs, same lifetime material warranty and 5-year workmanship guarantee.
Every part of your gutter system, handled by one team.

Downspouts & drainage
Extensions, splash blocks, and buried lines that move water away.
Repair & replacement
Leak sealing, miter rework, slope correction, fascia patches.
What we see on roofs in Studio City.
Laurel Canyon-side homes need rope-rigged access
Wonderland Ave, Lookout Mountain Ave, Laurel Terrace — narrow, winding hillside streets with 20-foot retaining walls below the property line and no driveway access. We set up from above with rope rigging on those addresses, and the install takes longer because of staging complexity. Not every contractor handles this geometry; we do, in-house.
Mid-Century Modern flat roofs route through scuppers
The case-house-influenced builds along Mulholland and the upper hillside streets use scupper systems instead of edge gutters — water exits through wall openings via through-wall downspouts. We fabricate and install scupper boxes for these geometries; standard residential install patterns don't apply.
Flatland Studio City has older fascia hidden behind trim
South-of-Ventura flats — Vineland Avenue corridor, Tujunga Village, the Carpenter School area — are 1930s-40s Spanish bungalow stock with original wood under multiple paint and trim layers. We pull a section to confirm fascia integrity before quoting; sometimes there's a hidden carpentry job in the path.
Wildlife pressure on downspouts is real
Laurel Canyon's adjacency means raccoons and coyotes try downspouts as climbing routes. We use through-bolted brackets and avoid PVC at ground level — the cheaper PVC downspout extensions get chewed or pulled within months on these streets. Metal extensions hold up.
