Gutter work on Hollywood's older homes.
Most of the Hollywood homes we work on were built between 1920 and 1945 — Spanish Colonial Revival in Beachwood Canyon, Mediterranean up Whitley Heights, period bungalows scattered through Hollywood Dell. Many were built without gutters and have been retrofitted multiple times since, leaving us to peel back layers of failed installs to get to sound fascia. We strip back to original wood, repair what's recoverable, and install a single seamless system backed by our lifetime material warranty.
Every part of your gutter system, handled by one team.
Seamless installation
Aluminum or copper, custom-rolled on-site to your fascia.
Gutter replacement
Tear off the old system, install a fresh seamless one.
Gutter cleaning
Hand-scooped debris, downspout flush, flow test before we leave.
Gutter guards
Micro-mesh and reverse-curve systems matched to your roof.
Downspouts & drainage
Extensions, splash blocks, and buried lines that move water away.

What we see on roofs in Hollywood.
Older homes have layers of failed gutter installs
It's normal to find two or three previous gutter systems on a single Whitley Heights or Hollywood Heights home — half-round nailed up in the 1950s, K-style screwed over it in the 80s, a sectional cover-up from the early 2000s. We strip everything back to original fascia, inspect, and start clean with one new system. Layered installs trap moisture and accelerate fascia rot.
Hillside neighborhoods are very different from flatland
Beachwood Canyon, Outpost Estates, Hollywood Dell — these are hillside neighborhoods with single-lane streets, no street parking, and 30-foot drops from the curb to the house. Access alone takes longer than flatland Hollywood and we price for it accordingly. Some properties need rope-rigged work from the upper roof; we don't subcontract that.
Original fascia often needs repair before reinstall
Fascia behind 80-year-old gutters fails predictably — soft spots where decades of failed seam sealant let water track behind the gutter into the wood. We handle light repairs (sistering, sealing, replacing 4-6 foot board ends) ourselves and refer larger fascia replacement to a local carpenter so the new system goes on sound wood. About a third of Hollywood Hills jobs need carpentry.
Historic district streets may need preservation review
Hollywood Heights and parts of Whitley Heights have preservation overlays affecting exterior work, including gutter visibility from the street. Half-round copper is usually approved without much friction; modern K-style aluminum sometimes needs a justification. We can tell you upfront whether your block is in an overlay zone and what's likely to fly.
